The equipment shall be returned in the same condition as when received, ordinary wear and tear accepted. Lessee also authorizes Best Golf Cars to charge the credit card number as noted above for damage to the equipment. Best Golf Cars will notify you of the damage, the amount and give the Lessee the option of paying with cash or certified check prior to charging the credit card. Lessee shall reimburse Lessor, upon demand, for the loss or any damage to the equipment while it is rented to Lessee and for all cost and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred by Lessor in collecting any amounts owing by Lessee hereunder or in otherwise enforcing Lessor’s rights hereunder.

Lessee shall pay to Lessor, upon demand, rental for the equipment at the rate provided until the equipment is returned to Lessor. Daily rates will apply if the equipment is kept after the scheduled return date unless other arrangements are made in advance. All days, including weekends and holidays, are chargeable.

Lessee shall indemnify and hold Lessor harmless from and against any and all liability, including but not limited to bodily injury, death and property damage, arising out of the use or operation of the equipment.

Lessee shall abide by all rules and regulation of Lessor governing the use of the equipment, as well as all local law enforcement rules and regulations. Lessee shall be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred if rules and regulations are not abided by. It is the responsibility of the Lessee to contact local law enforcement agencies for rules and regulations for operating vehicle within that towns limits.

Lessee shall not assign the Rental Contract or sublease the equipment.



GOLF CART DRIVING RULES

You must be 21 years or older to rent or operate a golf car from Best Golf Cars.  All drivers must have a valid drivers license with them while driving and are permitted to drive within 2 miles of their property on secondary roads during daylight hours only. You may cross primary roads (Hwy 17, Ocean Blvd, Sea Mountain Hwy) but not drive down them and must obey all South Carolina traffic laws. Golf Cars are NOT permitted on the beach. Any and all fines issued by the local police departments are the responsibility of the recipient. Best Golf Cars will assume no responsibility for any fines/tickets incurred. ANY EQUIPMENT FOUND TO BE OPERATED BY AN UNLICENSED DRIVER OR IN A RECKLESS MANNER WILL BE CONFISCATED AND RETURNED TO THE RENTAL LOCATION WITHOUT A REFUND.

THERE WILL BE A $25.00 FEE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD IF DMV PERMIT SUPPLIED IS NOT RETURNED WHEN VEHICLE IS PICKED UP.

Some cars will include head & tail lights. Electric cars will include batteries and a charger. It is the responsibility of the lessee to determine if their rental property allows golf car rentals and if electrical outlets are available for charging the car. Gas cars will be delivered upon request only. Windshields, mirrors and additional accessories are available for purchase and are not guaranteed to be on any rental cars.



CANCELLATION POLICY

A full refund will be issued to the original credit card for rentals canceled up to 48 hours prior to delivery. A 50% refund will be issued to the original credit card for rentals canceled 24-48 hours prior to delivery. Rentals canceled less than 24 hours prior to delivery will qualify for a voucher to be used for a future rental within a one year time period of cancellation.

No refunds will be issued if information is falsified. All rentals are subject to availability. Delivery and pick up times are not guaranteed.
